Although the stories do actually look decent and the authors are the right authors, I wouldn't trust Orson Scott Card to comment on anything to do with science fiction. One good book does not cancel out the dreck he's produced since then.Give me someone like Iain Banks, Ken MacLeod, Charles Stross, John Varley, Vernor Vinge, or best of all Neal Stephenson as an editor of masterpieces and I'll read it.
